Catherine Moore - Co founder, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

I charge you for my expertise but my heart is free. I love all my clients and believe, as humans, we all deserve the chance of a happy and meaningful life. Balance and connection will look different to everyone, depending on what matters most. We just need to work at tackling what is keeping you stuck. That’s where I come in.

I will see you, hear you and help you use the therapy space to move towards your suffering in a way that’s tolerable and healing. I always tell people that it’s hard work but at least you know you are doing the work in the right direction and investing in yourself, instead of digging a bigger hole. My client testimonials speak for themselves. I am so proud of our work together.

I am a mindful introvert, which I now fully embrace. I am also a national and international conference presenter and have formally published on FAP. My clinical background started in MH nursing. I progressed to work as a senior therapist and manager in a leading East London NHS psychology service and, prior to that, within a psychology team at the Priory Hospital, North London. I am grateful to have worked with world leaders in the field of CBT clinical practice and research and worked closely with Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. David Veale, expert in OCD, BDD and Emetophobia treatment and research. I have worked as a senior lecturer and CBT post graduate programme lead and clinical supervisor at Norwich Medical School at University of East Anglia.

I want to look on my life as being an extension of human compassion, freedom and inspiration. I really appreciate simple living. I don’t fear fear. I don’t have anything to prove and I am not motivated by societies ideas of success or happiness. Family and friends are really important to me. My co-founder is Jonathan Moore who also shares his time at https://jonathanmooreartist.co.uk/
