Hello, thank you for taking this important step to honour yourself and your needs. I never take it for granted and I admire your courage. I will be with you each step of the way as we do important clinical work together and help you to get where you want to be.

I charge for my clinical expertise (18 years working in Mental Health) but my open heart is free. Read on for more info and I look forward to connecting! Catherine

Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I am a Fully accredited and registered British Association of Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapy (BABCP) therapist since 2012 also trained in advanced contextual CBT approaches. Read more about my clinical career on the our story page. I accepts self-referrals and also work with solicitors, medico-legal organisations, all major insurance companies and employment assistance programmes.

CBT is an evidenced based talking therapy designed to create a healthier relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. As a result those suffering from a range of depression or anxiety problems have a space to better understand their presenting difficulties and learn new ways to overcome their distress. CBT empowers you from the beginning as it offers a range of clinically effective skills and tools that can be used for life helping you to connect to values based living and the life important to you. Sessions range from 3-20 depending on the presenting problem and severity. A treatment plan to suit your needs is discussed and agreed together at an initial assessment.

"Catherine has been a big help for me in moving things to where they need to go. She is lovely, has the ease to create a safe and relaxing environment - and most importantly give the time to help you work through problems and help in finding solutions for them". - Oliver

“As a long time CBT sceptic, I have been proved totally wrong by Catherine. With just a few sessions, I have learned how to cope better with my depression. She is a warm, empathetic therapist who teaches the fundamental importance of self-compassion. I highly recommend her if you’re finding life difficult.” - Erica
