Catherine is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and fully ACCREDITED with the BABCP since 2009.  Since then she has advanced her practice and is trained in other CBT approaches including Compassion Focused therapy (CFT), Functional analytical therapy (FAP), ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY (ACT), Mindfulness and eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR). She maintains a high success rate with her clients and She is deeply committed to working collaboratively in assisting clients to achieve their goals and maintain recovery. She creates a personal, informal and creative space where a meaningful relationship can empower clients to overcome their emotional and psychological distress with new skills and practice. 

The founder of ML Catherine's heart is also within the area of mindful lifestyle coaching and wellbeing with a strong EMPHASIS on self-care. She provides creative lifestyle coaching sessions helping clients to cultivate individual self care practice and values based living. "We live in such an overly stimulated society and it is so IMPORTANT we know how to CULTIVATE self-care practice + mindful balanced living in order to sustain MEANINGFUL life EXPERIENCES and not end up burning out, becoming depressed or not achieving one's potential". 

Catherine also works as an associate tutor within the Clinical Psychology dept based at Norwich Medical School at the university of east anglia. Previously she worked for a leading East London Psychology Service as a Senior CBT therapist and Manager for many years and prior to that At the Priory Hospital London, Catherine worked with Dr. David Veale, a leading national and international OCD and BDD expert. Catherine has worked and been supervised by national and international specialists. After 16years in london She values cultivating a slow living lifestyle with her husband jonathan (below) and cat basil in norfolk.

Education is extremely important to Jonathan, having studied extensively on family learning. Jonathan is interested in how happy, healthy and sustainable lifestyles can lead to a better world for everyone, Jonathan works hard to ensure that our online stream is the perfect environment for self-discovery.

 Ella is a ML associate CBT therapist. She is a BABCP accredited and AN EMDR practitioner with over 8 years experience of working therapeutically to help clients to improve their psychological well-being. She believes in using evidence-based theory and practice to overcome psychological distress and invites you to become curious about yourself. Using approaches which help you to make sense of unhelpful ways of interpreting and responding to day-to-day experience and working towards meaningful change, Ella will help you to increase your awareness of your values, beliefs and goals and support you to improve your relationship with yourself and others. With a realistic understanding of London-life and the pressures that it can bring, Ella offers a creative, compassionate and pro-active approach to therapy which values openness, self-reflection and the desire to change.
